The Kitschen Crockpot

What's that on fire in Flissy's Kitschen?

Thursday, August 10, 2006

I don't post about knitting much here, but I actually knit a lot. In progress at the moment I am working on a Clapotis ... I swear I must be the last internet-savvy knitter on the planet to make one. Little did I know it would be about the most boring project EVER. I live for dropping those stitches. I'm not even halfway done and it's been sitting around for months, save for the hour or so I can muster up the patience to plug through another 12 rows.

Anyway, onto the knucks.

I'm so very proud of myself. I thought the pattern would be way harder than it is. It's actually really fun! I'll try to knit the other glove over the weekend, and then do the cuffs on both. You can see the bright teal ball in the corner. I think I will do some stripey business with it but I haven't decided exactly what my plan is. And then maybe go back and do a little embroidery on the top, too? They are going to be very bright and obnoxious. I figure, hey, I totally learned how to knit GLOVES! I want people to notice!
